Healthy Cooking Lessons
Many of the healthier recipes you may have come across use ingredients such as buckwheat, quinoa, lentils, bulgar wheat along with some of the more common ingredients such as wholegrain rice, pastas and breads. Some of these foods can be a bit bland unless incorporated into good tasty recipes; I can't tell you how many times I have heard “I can't use wholewheat pasta, none of my family will eat it”, but they will if you know how to make it tasty.
Individual cooking lessons
Depending on your needs, I can demonstrate how to cook various healthy meals using some of the lesser known ingredients or can provide you with a demonstration of how to make a healthier version of your family favourites.
Group cooking lessons (subject to availability and numbers) are held either in our consultants kitchens or in the local school’s kitchens and again will cover healthy versions of family favourites and some rather unusual ingredients.
